Boston WIFI Project

on January 6, 2018

Location: BOSTON, MA

In the spring of 2015 Forge was selected to be the engineering company to provide the site designs for over 300 sites along the commuter rail in Boston. These towers provide WIFI service to the commuters and involved microwave links, antenna installations in the locomotives, and fiber along the tracks.

This was an exciting project and provided a unique way to see the city by walking virtually all of the rail lines across the entire metro area. This took us into some unique places and let us see Bostons underbelly.

Working on the rail is a wonderful experience with some truly talented people and we are grateful to have worked with them all.
