WIFI for Boston Commuter Rail

on January 18, 2018

Forge has been selected to provide services for the design and planning of 300+ towers for the commuter rail system in Boston. These towers will provide robust WIFI service for commuters as they travel to their destinations.

The existing WIFI system along the rail has not worked well and this effort is to replace the existing network with something completely new and reliable. The new network involves the placement of towers along all of the lines with an interconnecting system of fiber.

Forge has already begun work and we look forward to the challenges that lay ahead!
